The CytoScan service is validated for non-transformed human samples (e.g., peripheral blood, primary cells, pluripotent stem cells, in-vitro differentiated derivatives). Genomes with extensive chromosomal instability (e.g., many transformed/immortalised cell lines or late-passage cultures) often do not meet default array QC thresholds.
